Carnegie Arts Center Executive Director offers Voice Lessons.
Having been asked many, many times over the years, if I teach voice, I finally find myself in a position where I can begin to teach on a regular basis.
VOICE LESSONS: Lessons are 45 minutes in length and will cost $40. Lessons include technique and repertoire work. I tailor the lessons to the particular needs of my students. Singing is a very personal process. I believe strongly it is about “fit” and communication.
As a classically trained singer, I believe there is only one voice but there are many different colors and tones and styles that can be applied through proper use of different techniques for different musical styles. I welcome students interested in classical training & repertoire or musical theatre repertoire, or just exploring your voice.
AUDITION READINESS: These sessions are one hour in length and will cost $55. This is for a person who may not need or want lessons but is trying to brush up musical selections for auditions. One or more songs may be worked on depending on readiness of student. With more than 40 years of performance experience I advise as a performer, director and teacher.
Lessons will be held at my home in Munster this summer, beginning the week of June 13. I will teach one day a week - hoping that Thursdays work - with spots for only 6 students. The plan is to continue to teach when the Arts Center is opened and expand the studio when possible.
ALL FEES PAYABLE TO CARNEGIE ARTS CENTER
